A 4 hour course that provides the student with the basic skills and mindset required to confidently operate a long gun in a violent situation. The class starts with a lively classroom session followed by active drills on the range. Close quarter and close range engagement are covered. After successful completion of this course, students will be better prepared and more confident to defend themselves and their families if required. This class is geared toward the new long gun owner that wants to learn the basic skills required to defend themselves and those they love. Carbine length rifle (AR15, 9 mm carbine, Ruger or Keltec carbines), AR pistols, and shotguns are welcome as well as 22 caliber carbines. 120 rounds of ammunition required. We have 223 & 9 mm, and limited 12 ga buckshot available for students. Please inquire. Shotgunners can use birdshot but should bring 5 rounds of 00 buck. This is an intermediate-level class. The student must possess the skills required to demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon system familiarity, and foundational marksmanship skills with a pistol and rifle. This class will not cover the foundation of operating your hardware, accessories, and kit.

Our range is in woods at the base of a mountain, 2.5 miles off the nearest paved road!
This curriculum will work you through close quarter engagement out to 200 yards using your carbine rifle and pistol. Much of the lesson plan will be based on military pre-deployment training. We will work on mid-level and higher end skills and tactics. We emphasize teamwork & communication while advancing on targets out to 200 yards. Moving while shooting and stationary cover fire is a large part of the class. We perform lots of transitioning drills from primary to secondary firearms with movement. Room clearing and team work, communication, complex problem solving and stress will all be covered. Get ready to flick your switch from defensive to offensive and learn how to win the fight! 6 hour course. $295. Only ten slots being offered! $140 deposit required to hold your seat. A truly unique opportunity to train with your handgun in a scenario that few other ranges and schools offer! This session is held completely on the range, starting with a lecture on flash light techniques, followed by memorable range session. After successful completion of this course, students will be prepared and confident to defend themselves and their families in the DARK!

Tuition Deposit Policy
We typically fill our classes and turn students away as the class date nears. Be sure you can attend the class date for which you sign up. Should you become unable to attend a class, you can use your deposit for another class offered within one year of the original class date provided you give at least 72 hour notice to us. We will subtract any upfront costs we incur such as class materials from the deposit. Cancellations shorter than 72 hours and no shows forfeit their deposit. Thank you. NO REFUNDS
